Harsh Reaction from Kılıçdaroğlu to Netanyahu's Words at the UN Podium

Republican People's Party Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu reacted on social media to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who targeted Turkey and its representatives at the United Nations General Assembly.

Protests at the UN General Assembly

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, speaking at the 81st United Nations General Assembly, was protested by representatives of numerous countries, including Turkey. Diplomatic representatives of approximately 70 countries left the hall during Netanyahu's remarks.

Kılıçdaroğlu Emphasizes Arrogant Language

CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu stated that Netanyahu tried to whitewash the humanitarian picture in Gaza and the destruction where tens of thousands of people lost their lives. Kılıçdaroğlu emphasized that Netanyahu's arrogant language targeting the representatives of protesting countries can never be accepted.

Condemnation in the Conscience of Humanity

Arguing that the departure of Turkey and other diplomatic delegations from the hall was a clear response to the mindset that ignores international law and human dignity, Kılıçdaroğlu stated that Netanyahu spoke to an empty hall yesterday and is already condemned in the conscience of humanity.

Emphasis on State and Nation

Underlining that disagreements in domestic politics should be put aside, Kılıçdaroğlu expressed that it is strictly unacceptable for the Republic of Turkey and its nation to be targeted from the UN podium by a war criminal.

Palestine and the Two-State Solution

In his statement, Kılıçdaroğlu reiterated that they stand with the Palestinian people, peace, and justice. He stated that a permanent solution is possible within the framework of international law, based on the 1967 borders, with the establishment of an independent Palestinian State with East Jerusalem as its capital and the realization of the two-state solution.
