Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu reacted very harshly to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's rhetoric targeting Turkey at the 81st UN General Assembly, stating that targeting the country and the nation is unacceptable.
UN Podium and War Policies
Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu criticized Netanyahu's stance on the humanitarian picture in Gaza, emphasizing that the United Nations podium can in no way be used to legitimize war policies.
Drawing attention to the loss of life in Gaza, Kılıçdaroğlu expressed that the statements and speeches made constitute efforts to whitewash the destruction experienced in the region.

In his statement, Kılıçdaroğlu called for the 1967 borders to be taken as a basis and for an independent State of Palestine with East Jerusalem as its capital to be established as soon as possible.
