Message from Grand National Assembly of Palestine Solidarity Days to be Held in 81 Provinces by Speaker Kurtulmuş

Publishing a message on the occasion of the Palestine Solidarity Days to be implemented across 81 provinces of Turkey between October 7-11, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly Numan Kurtulmuş announced that the country will always stand by the oppressed and continue to be the voice of Palestine.

Palestine Solidarity Days Begin

Comprehensive events are being organized between October 7-11 to increase solidarity with the Palestinian people across Turkey and raise public awareness regarding Jerusalem. Through these programs nationwide, it is aimed to strengthen support for the Palestinian cause.

Statement from Parliament Speaker Kurtulmuş

In a post shared on social media, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly Numan Kurtulmuş drew attention to the tragedies experienced in Gaza since October 7, 2023. Stating that tens of thousands of innocent people have lost their lives and cities have been reduced to ruins, Kurtulmuş criticized the practices of the Israeli administration.

Severe Reaction to the Israeli Administration

Kurtulmuş likened the attacks and policies pursued by the Israeli administration against the people of Gaza to state terrorism, stating that this situation constitutes a grave crime against humanity. He also criticized the silence of certain international actors in the face of what is happening.

Turkey's Stance and Thanks

Stating that Turkey will stand tall against the oppressors today just as it did yesterday, Kurtulmuş noted that the country will take its place in the front lines of the Front of Humanity. He also conveyed his thanks to all citizens who contributed to the programs in the 81 provinces of Turkey and supported the rightful struggle of the Palestinian people.

Emphasis on a Free Palestine

Expressing at the end of his message that oppression cannot last forever, Kurtulmuş stated that the Palestinian people will one day surely achieve their freedom. He concluded his statement with an emphasis on sovereign lands and the free Palestinian flag.
