Trade Minister Ömer Bolat met with Jonathan Reynolds, the UK Secretary of State for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade, within the framework of the G20 Trade Ministers Meeting.
Strengthening Relations
During the meeting, steps to be taken to further strengthen trade and investment relations between the two countries were evaluated.
Developments in Trade Volume
It was officially announced that the bilateral trade volume between Turkey and the United Kingdom reached $24 billion in 2025.
Free Trade Agreement Negotiations
The fifth round of negotiations for the expansion of the Free Trade Agreement was successfully completed this week.
New Target of $40 Billion
The two countries aim to take the existing economic potential further and raise the bilateral trade volume to $40 billion.
