MHP Leader Bahçeli Evaluated the Agenda

MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, during a reception at the party headquarters, advocated for the expansion of the scope of the Mecca Agreement and gave messages regarding the Terror-Free Turkey process, Amedspor discussions, and new constitution efforts.

Mecca Agreement and Its Strategic Importance

MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli stated that he found the Mecca Agreement signed between Turkey, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia to be exceptionally healthy and important.

Stating that the agreement's tendency to expand holds strategic value, Bahçeli emphasized the importance of the efforts led by Turkey for the Islamic world to evaluate its potential.

Terror-Free Turkey Process and Parliamentary Works

Touching upon the Terror-Free Turkey process, MHP Leader Bahçeli expressed that no serious difficulties had been encountered since the beginning of the process.

Bahçeli drew attention to the importance of past steps, committee works in the Parliament, and social consensus in this process.

Visits from the East and Southeast

Bahçeli conveyed that party organizations in the Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia regions have been carrying out contacts and intense visits have taken place from the region.

He stated that following the developments, tribal leaders, opinion leaders, and individuals from various segments visited the party headquarters.

Amedspor and Sports Discussions

Making evaluations regarding Amedspor, Bahçeli said that football is not merely about the struggle on the field and that the stands are also a part of this arena.

Stating that politics and sports should not become intertwined, Bahçeli emphasized that sports should be an activity that embraces everyone.

Presidential Government System

Stating that Turkey needs political stability, Bahçeli pointed out that the Presidential Government System needs to be strengthened.

Touching upon the resolution of shortcomings in the system and the importance of new constitution efforts, the MHP Leader shared his views.
