Reacting to the research published by the Kurdish Studies Center and Rawest Research, Bahçeli stated that matching sports with identity is a grave mistake.

Bahçeli also proposed that a legal regulation be enacted to prevent studies that are far from scientific and aimed at manipulating society under the guise of public opinion polls.
