President Erdoğan's Message on the 107th Anniversary of the Sivas Congress

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan issued a message on the 107th anniversary of the Sivas Congress, stating that the spirit of unity and solidarity at the congress serves as a primary source of motivation for the Century of Türkiye vision.

In the message shared by the Presidency's Directorate of Communications, it was emphasized that the Sivas Congress was a historic turning point that enabled national forces in Anatolia to unite around a common ideal.

Erdoğan stated that with this congress, the Turkish nation declared to the entire world that it would not bow down to occupying forces and expressed its determination in the struggle for independence.

Century of Türkiye Vision and the Spirit of Unity

Stating that the understanding of solidarity prevalent at the congress remains valid today, Erdoğan noted that this spirit is the greatest strength against threats to the integrity of the homeland and the state.
