1 Million People Reached Through Baby, Child, and Youth Academies and Preventive Health Services
Implemented within the framework of the Ministry of Health's preventive health vision, academy programs offer comprehensive guidance to parents and youth.
The Baby, Child, and Youth Academies, operated by the Ministry of Health within the Healthy Life Centers, have provided development and health guidance to approximately 1 million citizens over a 1.5-year period.
Preventive Health Vision and Public Health Week
The Ministry of Health determined this year's theme within the scope of Public Health Week and shared current data on preventive health services with the public.
With the Healthy Life Academies implemented in line with the Protective Health vision, it is aimed to increase health literacy across society.
Support for Parents with the Baby Academy
Consultancy services are provided to parents and expectant parents regarding baby care, nutrition, immunization, and parenting roles.
A total of 139,717 people have benefited from the Baby Academy program since September 2025.
Development Monitoring with the Child Academy
Work is carried out for children in the 2-9 age group and their families on topics such as sleep training, dental health, developmental milestones, and vaccination tracking.
It was announced that 422,965 people have been reached within the scope of Child Academy activities since November 2025.
Youth Academy and Adolescence Guidance
Young people aged 10-21 and their families are informed on subjects including adolescent changes, technology use, stress management, and protection from harmful habits.
Support was provided to 437,140 people through the training courses given by the Youth Academy.
Spread of Knowledge via Health Ambassadors
It is aimed to spread reliable health information through health ambassadors trained in schools and centers.
Thanks to these ambassadors, accurate information is effectively shared among peers and families.
