A dispute broke out for an unknown reason between two neighbors in the evening hours on Adanur Street in Sakarya Neighborhood of Konya's Selçuklu district.
Armed Fight
In the incident, which quickly escalated into a fight, 20-year-old M.Y., who was allegedly under the influence of substances, shot and injured 15-year-old E.Z.
Obstruction of Teams
Suspect M.Y. prevented the medical and police teams dispatched to the area upon notification from approaching the injured child for a while.
Detention Operation
As a result of the decisive intervention of the police teams at the scene, suspect M.Y. was neutralized and detained.
Taken to Hospital
Injured E.Z. was transferred by ambulance to Necmettin Erbakan University Faculty of Medicine Hospital for treatment following the initial intervention by medical teams at the scene, and an investigation into the incident was initiated.
