21 Individuals Detained in Drug Investigation Targeting Celebrities
Following comprehensive investigations coordinated by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office in Istanbul, twenty-one suspects, including numerous well-known artists and actors, were apprehended.
Within the scope of drug and criminal investigations conducted by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a total of 21 suspects were detained in operations carried out by the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams.
Investigation and Detention Orders
Detention orders were issued for 18 suspects as part of the investigation conducted by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office within the scope of combating illicit drugs.
Under the second investigation, detention instructions were issued for 6 suspects on charges of using and supplying drugs, mediating prostitution, blackmail, and violating the privacy of private life.
Operations Conducted
Numerous individuals, including artists and actors, were apprehended in operations carried out by the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams.
As a result of the operations, a total of 21 suspects under two separate investigations were detained and taken to the police headquarters.
Procedures and Health Check
The suspects, whose legal procedures at the Provincial Gendarmerie Command were completed, underwent a health check, and preparations were initiated to refer them to the courthouse.
