Minister of Health Memişoğlu announced that 878,840 children received the title of health ambassador during training programs organized within the scope of Public Health Week events. The Ministry stated that health education was provided to approximately 1 million people in total through Healthy Life Centers.

Scope of the training programs

On the second day of Public Health Week, events organized under the theme 'Healthy Child, Healthy Future' aimed to help children acquire healthy habits. Basic health information was conveyed to children practically through interactive training stations.

The training content included critical topics such as 112 emergency health services, disaster awareness, healthy nutrition, and an active lifestyle. These efforts aim to ensure children gain health literacy at a young age.

Healthy Life Centers and the audience reached

The Ministry of Health continues its educational activities for different segments of society through Healthy Life Centers, as well as Baby, Child, and Youth Academies. It was announced that approximately 1 million people have been reached through these centers.

Minister Memişoğlu emphasized that the ministry will continue its efforts with determination to ensure children grow up healthy. It was stated that the trainings are an important step toward raising the general health level of society.
