Home Health Care Regulation
The Ministry of Health has empowered local authorities to schedule home visits for groups such as the elderly and bedridden patients who struggle to visit medical facilities. Mobile teams may be deployed in sparsely populated areas.
Testing and Examination Rules
Undergoing all paraclinical tests is no longer mandatory for individuals aged six and older. Imaging and testing procedures will be performed solely based on physicians' prescriptions.
Use of Existing Data
Results for individuals who underwent examinations or tests at the beginning of the year will not be requested again if they can be accessed via the Health Insurance Claim Information System and the VNeID database.
Specialist Doctor Assignments
Additional doctors may be assigned when needed to health centers experiencing shortages of specialists in branches such as ophthalmology, otolaryngology, and dentistry.
