The Bursa City Hospital Home Health Services Unit continues to provide uninterrupted health services in their own living spaces to 2,700 registered patients who have difficulty reaching the hospital.
A 22-person expert team is on duty in the field
An expert staff of 22 people, consisting of physicians, nurses, home health technicians, dietitians, pharmacists, secretaries, and drivers, actively works in the field.
Operating across Bursa, this team reaches patients' homes with 3 fully equipped vehicles to perform necessary medical interventions and check-ups.
Treatment processes are planned in the home environment
Family Medicine Specialist Dr. Hilal İkbal Damar noted that the teams visit patients at home to plan their examination, diagnostic, and treatment processes.
Pointing out that the home environment creates a more social and warm space for patients, experts state that this approach contributes positively to the recovery process.
Technological capabilities and remote evaluation
Technological infrastructure is effectively utilized in the coordination between home health teams and the hospital, speeding up the processes.
For eligible patients, video calls are conducted via the Ministry of Health's remote patient evaluation system, and prescription and report renewal procedures are carried out at home.
