The Health Associations Platform stated that the allegations of cold chain violations in medications reflected in the public eye revealed the gravity of the health administration in the country.

Platform officials requested official information from authorities regarding medications that were claimed to have been received with broken cold chains.

According to the allegations, necessary protective measures were not taken during the medication transfer processes at Ercan Airport, and the ice packs melted.

It was noted that temperature tracking devices were not present in the shipments in question and that the specifications conditions were violated.

Legal Process and Demands

Making a statement on behalf of the platform, Belgin Demirel demanded that a transparent and independent investigation be conducted, including past negligences.

It was emphasized that a legal process must be initiated against the intermediary firm that puts public health at risk.
