Ministry of Health Instruction for Review Against Corruption and Waste Risks in Management
Provincial health directorates and affiliated units will take action to audit risky areas and improve law enforcement.
With document number 7067 sent to its affiliated units and provincial health directorates, the Ministry of Health requested the review of areas carrying the risk of corruption, waste, and negative practices, and the strengthening of audits.
Scope of the Audit and Review Process
In accordance with the published document numbered 7067, it is aimed to identify and remedy deficiencies, inadequacies, and limitations in health management.
Provincial and city health directorates are mandated to carry out review processes more actively in order to promote institutional development.
Critical Health Areas Focused On
The reviews to be conducted will focus on the fields of pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, food safety, medical examination and treatment, and health insurance.
It is targeted to ensure transparency, service quality, stable supply, and reasonable prices in these areas.
Responsibilities of Managers and Measures
Department heads are asked to clearly define responsibilities in each of the stages of consultation, evaluation, approval, implementation, and audit.
Units must also strengthen power control, conflict of interest management, accountability, and job rotation in accordance with regulations.
