The Şanlıurfa Provincial Health Directorate shared the numerical changes and developments in primary healthcare services over the past year with the public.
Increase in health centers
According to data shared by the Şanlıurfa Provincial Health Directorate, the number of Family Health Centers in the city rose from 190 to 205 over the past year.
Rise in unit numbers
According to the announced figures, the number of Family Medicine Units across the city reached 824 from 748, and the number of Healthy Life Centers increased from 6 to 7.
Decrease in population ratios
In the evaluation made, it was stated that the population per Family Medicine Unit dropped from 3,188 to 2,749, showing a decrease of 13.8 percent.
Physician numbers and targets
While the number of family physicians per one hundred thousand people rose from 33.5 to 35.7, it was emphasized that healthcare services will continue to be brought into neighborhoods.
