Citizens' Health Checkups and Electronic Record Process Discussed
Latest data on periodic health checkups conducted across the province and the process of creating electronic health records were evaluated.

Increase Rate in Health Checkups
According to the report presented by the Department of Health, as of September 14, the proportion of citizens who underwent health checkups in the province reached 43.7 percent, which is nearly double the data from mid-August 2026.
One-Month Screening Data
In just a one-month period, between August 15 and September 14, more than 142,000 people across the province underwent routine health checkups and screening examinations.
Budget and Number of Eligible Persons
Upon examining the current situation, it was announced that there are 417,474 people in the province eligible to receive funding from the state budget for periodic health checkups, with the total cost exceeding 138.8 billion VND.
Status of Electronic Health Records
Along with the medical examination and treatment activities carried out, electronic health records were created for a total of 389,284 people across the entire province, corresponding to 47.06 percent of the total population.
Deadline Given for Completion
Speaking at the meeting, Tran Thanh Nhan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, requested that health checkups for target groups not utilizing funds from the provincial budget be completed by the end of September 2026 or at the latest in the first week of October 2026.
