Hong Son commune in Hanoi is implementing a comprehensive program that includes regular health check-ups and free screenings for all residents. Children and students hold a priority position among these services.

Screenings Prior to the School Year

In early September, as part of preparations for the new school year, healthcare services for students were comprehensively implemented in schools across the commune.

Students in the commune undergo routine health check-ups just before the new school year begins, ensuring security against potential health issues.

High Coverage Rate

Between August 24 and September 4, 2026, out of a total of 12,517 students across the municipality, 11,533 underwent health check-ups, achieving a coverage rate of 92.1%.

Statements by Authorities

Nguyen Thi Kim Anh, Principal of An My Kindergarten, emphasized the importance of completing the check-ups before the new school year, while Nguyen Van Nam, Director of the Commune Health Center, stated that this process is strategic for proactive disease prevention.

Future Period Plans

These student health check-ups form part of a plan to conduct free periodic screenings at least once a year for all commune residents between 2026 and 2030.

All health check-up results obtained are regularly updated and tracked within the electronic health records system.
