Construction Nears Completion for New Family Health Center in Işıklar Neighborhood
Construction work on the modern health facility, built in partnership with the Selçuklu Municipality and the Konya Provincial Directorate of Health, has reached the final stage.
Construction of the Family Health Center, implemented in Işıklar Neighborhood through the cooperation of the Selçuklu Municipality and the Konya Provincial Directorate of Health, is nearing completion, and the center will be opened for service in a short time.
A New Addition to Healthcare Investments
The Selçuklu Municipality is implementing an important project by adding a new one to its efforts to strengthen the health infrastructure throughout the district. As a result of the work carried out within the framework of the cooperation established with the Konya Provincial Directorate of Health, it is aimed for the local population to have easier access to healthcare services.
Technical Features and Area of the Center
The Family Health Center, whose land and construction were entirely undertaken by the Selçuklu Municipality, is located on a total construction area of 918 square meters. The building, whose architectural planning was completed in two levels consisting of a basement and ground floor, was designed to fully respond to the needs of the citizens.
Comprehensive Units and Service Areas
Inside the new family health center, there are five family physician offices, a large laboratory, and a blood drawing unit. Additionally, the facility includes an emergency intervention room, a baby care area, a pregnancy follow-up room, as well as nurse and training rooms.
Statement from Mayor Pekyatırmacı
Selçuklu Mayor Ahmet Pekyatırmacı emphasized that they have brought numerous family health centers to the district so far. Pekyatırmacı stated that this new center, whose construction is nearing completion, will also be finished as soon as possible and offered to the service of the citizens.
