Darıca Search and Rescue Association (DARKDER) held comprehensive cooperation talks with managers of key healthcare institutions in Kocaeli to step up disaster and emergency preparedness efforts.
Critical Contact with Healthcare Institutions
Operating for disasters and emergencies in Darıca, Kocaeli, the Darıca Search and Rescue Association (DARKDER) held a series of meetings to strengthen cooperation with healthcare organizations in its preparedness efforts.
Association President Abdulhamit Subaşı and board members came together directly with managers of key healthcare centers operating in the region to discuss joint working areas.
High-Level Meetings Held
Within this scope, DARKDER President Abdulhamit Subaşı and the association management met with Merkez Prime Hospital owner Hakan Höbek, Büyük Anadolu Hospital owner Yakup Yönten, and Darıca Farabi Training and Research Hospital Chief Physician Arif Emre.
During these critical meetings, the life-saving impacts of the bridges to be established between institutions during a disaster were discussed in detail.
Joint Operations and Drill Plans
In the talks aimed at developing cooperation between DARKDER and healthcare organizations, joint operations that can be carried out from pre-disaster to the intervention process were laid on the table.
Within this framework, alongside educational activities and joint drills, mechanisms aimed at ensuring rapid communication and coordination between teams in potential disasters and emergencies were addressed.
Mutual Support and Coordination
Mutual views were exchanged regarding providing reciprocal support if needed in potential emergencies and further strengthening coordination among institutions.
During the evaluations, the importance of search-and-rescue teams and healthcare personnel acting in harmony during a crisis was emphasized.
