Davıva Health Group's Five-Year Vision and Growth Targets Announced
Sharing its new investments in the healthcare sector and future strategies, the group executive shared comprehensive ecosystem targets.
Dr. Tarkan Dizdar, General Manager of Davıva Health Group, shared the institution's vision for the new period along with investments in Avcılar and Çorlu. Stating that they aim to be among Turkey's leading healthcare institutions within five years, Dizdar expressed their goal to establish an integrated ecosystem covering dialysis, pharmaceuticals, and hospital management.
A Service Approach That Puts People at the Center
Stating that sustainable success in the healthcare sector is possible with a service approach that puts people at the center, Dr. Tarkan Dizdar expressed that they care about employee loyalty as well as patient satisfaction.
Integrated Healthcare Ecosystem Target
Sharing the group's future goals ranging from the first hospital in Avcılar to the new investment in Çorlu and an academically weighted physician staff, Dizdar said they aim to transform Daviva into an integrated healthcare ecosystem covering dialysis, pharmaceuticals, and hospital management. He stated that they aim for the brand to be among Turkey's leading healthcare institutions within five years.
A Thirty-Year Career Journey
Dr. Tarkan Dizdar also shared his career journey of nearly 30 years, extending from medical education to healthcare management. Dizdar, a 1998 graduate of Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, recounted that he transitioned into hospital management under the influence of a healthcare manager he met during a trip. He stated that he took part in the establishment of nearly thirteen hospitals, then founded his own health tourism company, and subsequently crossed paths with Daviva.
Dialysis Centers and the Pharmaceutical Sector
Stating that Daviva has 53 dialysis centers in 19 provinces, Dizdar noted that they also have growth targets in the pharmaceutical sector with Daviva Pharmaceuticals. He stated that the institution continues its efforts to expand its areas of activity.
Avcılar Hospital Transformation Process
Noting that Daviva Avcılar Hospital was purchased with its license and fixtures through a tender opened by the SDIF (TMSF), Dizdar conveyed that a complete transformation was carried out in the building. In this context, he emphasized that the technological infrastructure and physician staff have been renewed.
Çorlu Investment and New Licenses
Stating that the second hospital planned to open in the near future will be in Çorlu, Tekirdağ, Dizdar said they expect it to come to life in the last quarter of this year. He also stated that they obtained five more surgical medical center licenses from Ministry of Health tenders.
Istanbul-Focused Qualified Growth
Stating that two of the obtained surgical medical center licenses are in Istanbul and three are outside Istanbul, Dizdar emphasized that the main target of growth is Istanbul-focused. He expressed that the group aims for a qualified growth limited to six to seven hospitals.
