Legal Measures to be Taken
It was decided to conduct surprise inspections at facilities where public complaints are concentrated, revoke the licenses of those operating contrary to legal regulations, and report situations constituting crimes to the police.
Case Example and Zero Tolerance
Citing the recent fraud and extortion trial involving 19 people at the Phuong Do International Multi-Purpose Clinic in Hai Phong, the ministry stated that zero tolerance will be shown toward practices threatening patient safety.
Public Disclosure and Accountability
It was emphasized that the names of violating facilities will be made public and local health directors who fail to fulfill their inspection duties will be held accountable.
