The official feedback process has been initiated for a draft resolution determining the numbers and monthly support levels of village and residential area healthcare workers and village midwives in Khanh Hoa province.

Purpose of the Draft Resolution

This draft resolution aims to concretize regulations regarding healthcare workers and midwives based on the actual conditions of the province. It aims to establish a unified policy across the province following the restructuring.

Plans are underway to ensure the sustainability of the public health personnel network, especially in disadvantaged, ethnic minority, and mountainous regions.

Scope and Application Area

The regulation covers village and residential area healthcare workers throughout the province, midwives on lists approved by competent authorities, relevant local authorities, and health stations.

It will serve as a basis for transparent and accurate distribution in personnel allocation and budget preparation processes for institutions and units.

Financing Options

Under the scope of the draft resolution, two different annual funding options are proposed for healthcare workers and midwives.

While the total annual cost for Option 1 is calculated at 19,023,576,000 VND, this amount is calculated as 18,768,552,000 VND for Option 2.

Next Steps and Schedule

The draft resolution in question is expected to be submitted for approval at the provincial People's Council meeting to be held in September 2026.
