Five people lost their lives in a tragic fire that broke out in a building on Van Cao Street in Hanoi's Tay Ho District. The Ministry of Health called for emergency medical intervention at Military Hospital 354 for the treatment of the injured.
Details of the Fire in Hanoi
The Hanoi City Police Command received the report of a fire breaking out in the building located on Lane 2B Van Cao, Tay Ho ward, in the morning hours. Firefighter teams intervened against the flames in the four-story building, each floor of which covers approximately 60 square meters.
Search, Rescue, and Extinguishing Operations
Approximately 40 firefighting and rescue personnel dispatched to the scene fought the flames. As a result of the efforts, four of the people trapped in the building managed to escape, and the fire, which was brought under control in a short time, was completely extinguished.
Loss of Life and Dispatch of Medical Teams
As a result of detailed examinations conducted by search and rescue teams in the building, the bodies of five people were reached. The remains of those who lost their lives were handed over to medical personnel for necessary procedures.
Emergency Intervention Directive from the Ministry of Health
The Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Administration under the Ministry of Health sent an official directive to Military Hospital 354, affiliated with the General Department of Logistics and Technology of the Ministry of National Defense. The hospital administration was requested to focus its resources on the treatment of severe cases.
