Free Health Screening Conducted for Senior Members in Konak
A collaborative effort organized within the framework of Public Health Week aimed to support healthy aging.
At the center within Konak Municipality, a comprehensive health screening and information event was organized for citizens aged 60 and over on the occasion of Public Health Week.
Details of the Health Screening
Konak Municipality Ziya-Zişan-Saadet Aytulun Brothers Advanced Age Healthy Life Center hosted personnel from the Konak District Health Directorate as part of the September 3-9 Public Health Week.
As a result of this cooperation, various health checks were performed for the center's members to raise awareness.
Measurements and Tests Performed
In the study conducted by the Konak District Health Directorate teams, the blood sugar, blood pressure, height, and weight measurements of the members were meticulously completed.
Additionally, a pulmonary function test was administered to the participants, and their health status was closely evaluated.
Physical Therapy and Posture Training
Information was provided on spine health, which holds great importance for elderly individuals.
With the guidance of experts, participants were practically taught physical therapy and correct posture exercises.
