Free Health Screening Conducted in Bayburt as Part of Public Health Week
In the work carried out by the Provincial Health Directorate teams, citizens' basic health measurements were taken and information regarding preventive health services was provided.
Within the framework of Public Health Week events in Bayburt, citizens were provided with free health screenings and information on various chronic conditions at a set-up booth.
Booth Set Up in Front of Yakutiye Mosque
As part of the September 3-9 Public Health Week, a special booth was set up in front of Yakutiye Mosque in Bayburt.
Various screening and measurement activities regarding the health conditions of citizens were implemented in this designated area.
Basic Health Measurements Conducted
During the field work carried out by the teams of the Bayburt Provincial Health Directorate, citizens' blood sugar levels were measured.
Additionally, blood pressure, height, and weight measurements of the participating individuals were taken in detail.
Chronic Diseases and Information Activities
Important health topics such as diabetes and hypertension were conveyed to the citizens by the health teams.
In addition, cardiovascular diseases and the importance of physical activity on human health were emphasized.
Referral of Individuals Deemed at Risk
Individuals who were identified with any health risks during the measurements and screenings were determined.
These individuals were referred to family physicians for necessary evaluations and medical follow-ups.
Importance of Preventive Health Services
With this meaningful study, the place of preventive health services in protecting community health was explained.
It was aimed for citizens to have regular health check-ups and lead a conscious life.
