Free Health Screening Launched for Workers in Bartın
Preventive health services and early diagnosis applications have begun to be offered in the workplace for thousands of workers in the organized industrial zone.
Led by the General Directorate of Public Health, the "My Health in the Workplace" project was introduced in Bartın, and efforts were initiated to provide free health services to approximately 6,700 workers in the OIZ.
Project Introduction Held
The introductory program of the "My Health in the Workplace" project, prepared by the General Directorate of Public Health to protect worker health and develop a healthy living culture in workplaces, was carried out.
Health Services Moving to the Workplace
During the program held at the Bartın Organized Sanayi Zone Directorate Conference Hall, the details of the project and the targeted preventive health practices were conveyed to the participants.
Opportunities to Be Offered to Workers
Within the scope of the project, it was announced that various health services such as smoking cessation clinics, cancer screening, and combating obesity will be provided free of charge to workers in the region.
Goal of Early Diagnosis and Information
With the emphasis of the governorship and authorized figures, it is aimed to raise awareness among workers on healthy nutrition, physical activity, harmful habits, and protection from chronic diseases.
Activities to Last for Six Months
While the screening and health services to be carried out in Bartın OIZ for six months aim to reach approximately 6,700 workers, booths were set up following the introduction.
