According to data shared by the Ministry of Health, 27 city hospitals across Turkey provide services with a capacity of approximately 40,000 beds, while millions of citizens have been provided with outpatient, emergency examination, and surgery services to date.

City Hospitals Providing Service

The 27 city hospitals serving across Turkey continue to offer high standards of healthcare services to citizens with their large capacity, modern infrastructure, and strong medical staff.

Branch diversity is ensured in these centers where diagnosis, treatment, surgery, rehabilitation, education, and research services are brought together on the same campus.

Bed Capacity and Targets

In city hospitals with a bed capacity of approximately 40,000, a treatment environment is provided to citizens with qualified patient rooms and modern health units.

With the completion of 13 city hospitals currently under construction, the total bed capacity is planned to reach approximately 56,000 and the capacity is aimed to be strengthened.

Outpatient and Surgical Data

More than 455 million outpatient services have been provided in city hospitals to date, while approximately 12 million surgeries have been successfully performed.

Patients are treated by performing specialized and advanced surgical procedures in operating rooms equipped with advanced technology.

Emergency Service and Technological Infrastructure

Operating on a twenty-four-hour basis, city hospitals have conducted over 85 million emergency examinations to date.

Robotic surgery systems, hybrid operating rooms, and advanced imaging technologies are actively used in diagnosis and treatment processes at the facilities.
