The groundbreaking ceremony for the Aksu Fatma-Şevket Yüksel Family Health Center took place in the Cihadiye Neighborhood of Antalya's Aksu district, aimed at providing citizens with easier access to healthcare services.

Groundbreaking Ceremony Held

A groundbreaking ceremony was held for the new family health center in Cihadiye Neighborhood, designed to provide residents of Antalya's Aksu district with faster and easier access to primary healthcare services.

Technical Features of the Center

Serving primarily the residents of Cihadiye and Pınarlı neighborhoods, the facility will be built as a 3-story building on a 420-square-meter plot, featuring a total indoor area of 504 square meters.

While the project is being realized with the contributions of philanthropist businessman Mehmet Yüksel, the land allocation was carried out by the Aksu Municipality.

Internal Equipment of the Facility

Planned to provide services with a modern infrastructure upon completion, the center will house numerous diverse units ranging from examination rooms to baby care areas.

The facility will include 9 examination rooms, 2 medical intervention rooms, 2 pregnant monitoring rooms, 1 vaccination monitoring room, 1 baby care room, as well as administrative units and waiting areas.

Statements by the Mayor

In his speech at the ceremony, Aksu Mayor İsa Yıldırım drew attention to the importance of health in human life and stated that they are expanding the service network in the district.

Yıldırım noted that following his assumption of office, the Health Affairs Directorate was put into operation, and home health and physiotherapy services have begun.

Future Healthcare Investments

It was noted that efforts are ongoing for healthcare investments in Çalkaya and Kemerağzı neighborhoods in addition to the center in Cihadiye.

It was announced that the project to be brought to Çalkaya will also include an early cancer diagnosis center, a 112 Emergency Service, and a physiotherapy department.

Ribbon Cutting with Protocol Participation

Antalya Provincial Health Director Prof. Dr. Behzat Özkan emphasized that a great momentum has been achieved in healthcare investments in Aksu in recent years, thanking those who contributed.

Following the speeches and the prayer by District Mufti Yusuf Ulusoy, the groundbreaking ribbon of the center was cut with the participation of Aksu Mayor İsa Yıldırım, philanthropist Mehmet Yüksel, and protocol members.
