Health and Education Center Inaugurated with Ceremony in Elmalı
Health and education facilities built through collaboration in Antalya's Elmalı district have been put into service for citizens.
The Sinan-ı Ümmî Family Health Center, KEMET, and ATSO Education and Health Center, built in the Elmalı district through the cooperation of the Antalya Provincial Health Directorate, Elmalı Municipality, and the Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, were put into service with a ceremony held.
Inaugurations Held at the Ceremony
An official opening ceremony was held for the Sinan-ı Ümmî Family Health Center, the Cancer Early Diagnosis, Screening and Education Center, and the ATSO Education and Health Center brought to life in Antalya's Elmalı district.
It was announced that the building allocated by the Elmalı Municipality was put into service with the contributions of the Provincial Health Directorate.
Evaluations by Governor Hulusi Şahin
In his speech at the ceremony, Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin emphasized that the new facility is a critical investment in terms of citizens' access to healthcare services.
Governor Şahin stated that the Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry continuously supports many important initiatives aimed at education, health, and social life.
Environmental Protection Project Support
Governor Hulusi Şahin also announced an important project aimed at preventing waste carried through streams flowing from Antalya to the sea.
It was noted that the cost of this environmental project, which plans to establish over 30 barriers across 29 streams discharging into the sea throughout Antalya, will be undertaken by ATSO.
Statements from ATSO President
ATSO President Yusuf Hacısüleyman stated that the new center will meet an important need in terms of public health and provide a solution to the waiting times experienced in imaging services.
During his speech, President Hacısüleyman also commemorated the late ATSO President Ali Bahar, who laid the foundation for the project, with mercy.
