Health education program held for children and mothers in Mersin
Families and children were raised awareness in the program held at Toroslar Children's Campus and Halkkent Children's Workshop.
In partnership with the Mersin Metropolitan Municipality, an education and awareness program themed 'Healthy Child, Healthy Future' was implemented on the occasion of Public Health Week.

Purpose and Goals
In line with the efforts of the Ministry of Health, it was aimed for children to gain health awareness at an early age and acquire healthy living habits.
Participating Experts and Teams
Psychologists, child development specialists, physiotherapists, dietitians, dentists, midwives, as well as teams from the Red Crescent (Kızılay) and UMKE, took part in the program.
Training Topics and Practices
Nutrition, hygiene, oral health, disaster awareness, and first aid topics were covered in the trainings supported by games and practical applications.
Training of Health Ambassadors
It was aimed for children to become health ambassadors who can share what they have learned with their surroundings.
