Details of the Draft

The Ministry of Health announced that it is seeking feedback on its roadmap prepared to increase the level and scope of health insurance assistance.

New Scope of Support

The draft decree proposes that, starting April 1, 2027, the entire health insurance premiums of mildly disabled individuals belonging to near-poor households be covered by the state budget.

Expanding Beneficiaries

With this approval, it is projected that the total number of groups whose premiums are covered by the state will rise to twenty-one.

Increases for Other Groups

Within the scope of the draft, it is also planned to increase support rates for students, households engaged in agriculture, forestry, fishing, and salt production, as well as individuals receiving care in charitable and religious institutions.

Roadmap

The prepared draft also includes a roadmap for gradually increasing the scope and reimbursement rates of health insurance and raising premium rates over the years.
