Health screening for couples married for over 41 years in Samsun
With a project featuring comprehensive examinations, regular check-ups for citizens who have been married for many years are supported.
The Samsun Metropolitan Municipality has launched a free and comprehensive health screening program for couples aged 65 and over who have been married for at least 41 years, in order to support the long years spent together.
Details of the Health Screening
Within the scope of the initiated service, it is aimed to evaluate the general health status of the citizens in detail.
Thanks to the screenings applied, it is intended to detect potential health problems of elderly and senior couples in advance.
Applied Medical Examinations
During the health screening, important measurements such as blood tests and respiratory function tests are performed on the citizens.
In addition, audiometry (hearing test), chest X-rays, and electrocardiography examinations are meticulously carried out.
Participation Requirements and Application
To benefit from this special service, individuals are required to be 65 years of age or older and to have been married for at least 41 years.
All couples meeting the conditions can benefit from this opportunity completely free of charge.
Operation of the Application Process
Applications from citizens wishing to benefit from the project have started to be collected by the relevant units.
Applications can be easily made directly through the ALO 153 Solution Center communication line.
