Health Stand Opened in Yüksekova for Public Health Week
Within the framework of Public Health Week events, blood pressure and blood sugar measurements were performed for citizens at a stand set up in Yüksekova.
The Yüksekova District Health Directorate set up a health stand at 15 Temmuz Şehitler Park on Cengiz Topel Street on the occasion of Public Health Week, carrying out blood pressure and blood sugar measurements for citizens.
High Interest in the Health Stand
Health screenings of citizens were conducted and informational activities were carried out at the stand set up by the Yüksekova District Health Directorate teams at 15 Temmuz Şehitler Park.
On the first day of the event, citizens' blood pressure and blood sugar measurements were performed, and information regarding chronic diseases was also provided.
Second Day Event Plan
The second day of the events will continue on Tuesday, September 8, at 14:30 at the same park with height and weight measurements.
Within the framework of the program, physical activity accompanied by a physiotherapist, healthy living, and methods of protection from chronic diseases will be explained.
Increasing Awareness of Healthy Living
Public Health Week aims to increase awareness in society regarding preventive health services and healthy living issues.
With these efforts in Yüksekova, it is aimed for citizens to have regular health checks and acquire healthy habits.
