AK Party Iğdır Deputy Cantürk Alagöz stated that the claims raised regarding healthcare services and the cardiology appointment system in the city do not reflect the reality, and as a result of the examinations made, it was determined that citizens were given appointments shortly after their request.

Complaint Received During Cleaning Work

AK Party Iğdır Deputy Cantürk Alagöz stated that they initiated a cleaning campaign in the city center together with Iğdır Governor M. Fırat Taşolar to raise awareness.

He stated that during this work, a citizen approached him and conveyed that they were experiencing problems with the appointment system of the cardiology department at the hospital.

Examination of the Cardiology Appointment Process

Upon the citizen's statement that they had not been able to get an appointment for about 15-20 days, Alagöz requested the relevant individuals to investigate the matter to verify the claim.

During the check, it was determined that the citizen requested an appointment on Friday, September 18, and was given an appointment for Tuesday, September 22.

Motivation of Healthcare Workers

In his assessment following the incident, Alagöz expressed that information that does not reflect the truth or is incompletely conveyed can negatively affect the motivation of healthcare workers and managers.

Drawing attention to the fact that such situations can be used to dampen enthusiasm, Alagöz emphasized that efforts to improve healthcare services continue with determination.
