Heart Transplant Data in Public Hospitals Announced
According to Ministry of Health data, the numbers of heart transplant surgeries performed in public hospitals nationwide throughout 2025 and the first half of 2026 have been shared with the public.
According to the statement made by the Ministry of Health, a total of 46 heart transplants were performed in 2025 and 11 in the first half of 2026 across 117 heart centers operating in public hospitals.
Distribution of Serving Centers
Public hospitals offer significant infrastructure services in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
In this context, a total of 117 centers, including 101 adult heart centers and 16 pediatric heart centers, are actively serving nationwide.

According to the written statement by the Ministry of Health, the numbers of surgical operations performed by expert teams are regularly monitored.
According to the disclosed data, while 46 heart transplant surgeries were performed in public hospitals in 2025, this number was recorded as 11 in the first half of 2026.
