A citizen living in Istanbul took their ailing grandmother to the University of Health Sciences Gülhane Training and Research Hospital. Reacting to the cleaning conditions in the hospital, the citizen recorded moments showing that everywhere was covered in filth and shared this footage on social media platforms.
The Ministry Took Action
The footage, which spread rapidly on social media and brought to light the lack of hygiene in the hospital, sparked public reaction. Following these developments, the Ministry of Health urgently took action to examine the allegations regarding the matter and initiated an official investigation process.
Inspector Assigned
It was learned that an inspector was assigned to investigate the allegations at the hospital within the scope of the investigation launched upon the instructions of Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu. It was stated that the process will be examined meticulously in all its aspects.
