Fell Ill During the Journey
Istanbulspor defensive midfielder Elvin Mendy set off to return to Istanbul following his team's match. While traveling around the Kırkağaç district of Manisa, the young footballer suddenly fell ill.
Transferred to the Hospital
Following complaints of chest pain that started on the bus, the footballer was first taken to Kırkağaç State Hospital and, after initial intervention there, was transferred to Manisa City Hospital.
Intensive Care and Angiography Process
Mendy, who was admitted to the intensive care unit at Manisa City Hospital, subsequently underwent an angiogram. Following the successful procedure, it was reported that the young footballer's consciousness is clear and his health condition is being closely monitored.
