The new health building constructed at the Uzundere Campus of Izmir Democracy University has been put into service with a held ceremony.
The opening and promotional ceremony of the completed health building at the Uzundere Campus of Izmir Democracy University was held. Serving students studying in the fields of medicine, health sciences, and health services, the new building holds the distinction of being the first permanent reinforced concrete structure on the campus.
Beginning of the Ceremony and Importance of the Campus
The opening ceremony held at the university's Uzundere Campus began with a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem. Protocol members attending the ceremony emphasized the contributions the new building will provide to the region.

Governor Süleyman Elban stated that universities bring a distinct atmosphere to the region, city, and neighborhood where they are located, and make significant contributions to the region's cultural structure and commercial life. Time Capsule and Closing of the Ceremony
Following the ribbon-cutting by protocol members, the health building, which will serve students of the faculty of medicine, health sciences, and health services vocational school, was toured. Additionally, a time capsule prepared for the university's 10th anniversary was sealed to be opened on September 7, 2036.
