In an official written statement issued by the ministry, it was clearly stated that the Houthis in Yemen targeted a series of energy facilities and infrastructure in the southern region of the country.

It was stated that the attacks caused fires in certain areas and led to the temporary suspension of some critical operational activities for security purposes.

It was reported that expert field teams have initiated comprehensive efforts to bring the fires under control, ensure the security of the regions, and assess the damage.

While it was emphasized that competent authorities continue to address the repercussions of these attacks, it was noted that necessary measures have been taken for the safety of the facilities and employees.

Casualties Targeting Civilian and Commercial Targets

Brigadier General Turki al-Maliki, the Spokesperson for the Saudi-led Arab Coalition, had announced that a total of 73 people were injured in attacks by the Iran-backed Houthis targeting civilian and commercial facilities in the cities of Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Najran.
