KUISCID Represented Turkey at UN Meeting in New York
Turkey's contributions to the international pandemic report introduced at the United Nations were carried out with the support of KUISCID.
While the Turkey studies of the 'Pandemic Preparedness Transformation for Equality' report, introduced during the United Nations General Assembly High-Level Week, were conducted with the contributions of KUISCID, Prof. Dr. Özge Karadağ from Bahçeşehir University represented Turkey at the meeting in New York.

The Pandemic Preparedness Transformation for Equality report was announced to the public at an international meeting held in New York within the scope of the United Nations General Assembly High-Level Week.
Executor of Turkey Studies
The Turkey studies included in the report were successfully conducted with the contributions of the Koç University İş Bankası Infectious Diseases Research and Application Center, namely KUISCID.
Scope and Objectives of the Report
The comprehensive report prepared aims to move the understanding of preparedness for pandemics beyond laboratory capacity, surveillance, vaccine stockpiles, and emergency plans.
International Contribution Networks
The study brings together data provided by government, civil society, and private sector representatives from twenty different countries, six evidence reviews, scenarios, and epidemiological modellings.

KUISCID Founding Director Prof. Dr. Önder Ergönül and Prof. Dr. Özge Karadağ from Bahçeşehir University made significant contributions to the Turkey leg of the PRIME Commission's research network.
