High-level officials from the Ministry of Health visited the construction site of the 600-bed New State Hospital currently being built in Amasya to inspect the latest status of the ongoing work on-site.
Detailed Inspection at the Construction Site
A comprehensive inspection was carried out by Ministry of Health officials at the construction site of the 600-bed New State Hospital, which is under construction in Amasya.
Participation of Ministry and Local Officials
Deputy General Manager of Investment Services Burkay Şimşek, Head of Construction Implementation Department Mustafa Sakarya, the ministry inspection team, and contractor company officials took part in the inspections.
Amasya Provincial Health Director Dr. Dursun Koç and Head of Support Services Mehmet Köse also accompanied the ministry delegation and provided information regarding the process.
Project Process and Technical Evaluation
The delegation thoroughly discussed the current progress status of the construction, implementation processes, and the technical works being carried out.
Mutual evaluations were made in order to ensure that the project proceeds in accordance with the previously planned schedule.
Technical Capacity of the Hospital
When completed, the New State Hospital will provide health services to the local population with a total capacity of 600 beds.
The facility will also house 26 operating rooms, 190 outpatient clinics, 139 intensive care beds, and 60 emergency service beds.
Target for Commissioning
Construction work on the modern health facility is planned to be completed and opened for service within the year 2028.
