Ministry of Health Instruction on Student Health Checks and Data Portal

With the start of the new academic year, the Ministry of Health issued instructions for the initial health checks of kindergarten and primary school students to be carried out and the results to be transferred to the official data portal.

New Regulation for Health Checks

Deputy Minister of Health Do Xuan Tuyen signed and forwarded the official document regarding the health checks to be applied for students at the beginning of the new school year to the relevant institutions.

The published Circular No. 33/2026/TT-BYT provides detailed guidance on the health checks of students in educational institutions at the beginning of the school year.

Data Portal Update Obligation

The results of the health checks conducted at the beginning of the school year for kindergarten and primary school students must be fully updated on the official Health Data Portal of the Ministry of Health.

For the regular execution of this process, the ministry requested that the lists of schools and educational institutions be submitted by the People's Committees of provinces and cities by September 8, 2026.

Inter-Institutional Coordination Process

The Departments of Education and Training were instructed to send the list of schools in their regions to the Ministry of Health on time.

Local health stations and educational institutions were assigned to ensure that checks are carried out in accordance with regulations and that results are entered into the system in accordance with the relevant article.
