New Family Health Center Opened in Melikgazi
The Fatma-Halit Çataloğlu Family Health Center, built in Şirintepe Neighborhood with the contributions of philanthropists, has entered service with a ceremony.
The Fatma-Halit Çataloğlu Family Health Center, completed in Şirintepe Neighborhood through the cooperation of Melikgazi Municipality and philanthropists, has been officially opened with the participation of protocol members.
Opening Ceremony Held
The official opening ceremony was held for the Fatma-Halit Çataloğlu Family Health Center, which was brought to life in Şirintepe Neighborhood by Melikgazi Municipality in cooperation with philanthropists to meet the health needs of the district.
Technical Capacity of the Center
The newly opened health center will serve with a capacity of 7 physicians and includes examination rooms, a medical intervention room, baby monitoring, reproductive health, pregnancy follow-up, vaccination room, and laboratory departments.
Statements by the Mayor
Speaking at the opening, Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu thanked philanthropist Mustafa Çataloğlu and the Çataloğlu family, stating that they have brought 18 family health centers to the district so far.
Health Investments Continue
Provincial Health Director Dr. Mehmet Erşan stated that primary care health facilities are being implemented smoothly in Kayseri thanks to philanthropists and municipalities, and nearly 20 investments are ongoing throughout the province.
Participation of the Protocol
At the ceremony, philanthropist Mustafa Çataloğlu wished that the center would be a source of healing; while Kayseri Governor Gökmen Çiçek and AK Party Kayseri Deputies Murat Cahid Cıngı, Şaban Çopuroğlu, and Dursun Ataş also delivered speeches thanking those who contributed.
