Over 72 percent of the population province-wide underwent regular health screenings
Through efforts carried out under the Politburo's Resolution No. 72/NQ-TW, periodic health check-ups for more than 406,000 people have been completed across the province.
As a result of periodic health check-ups and screenings conducted in accordance with the Politburo's Resolution No. 72/NQ-TW on protecting and improving public health, 406,246 people across the province have been reached, achieving 72.14 percent of the plan.
Current Status of Health Screenings
In accordance with the Politburo's Resolution No. 72/NQ-TW on strengthening the protection and improvement of public health, periodic health check-ups have been conducted for 406,246 people throughout the province.
As a result of these comprehensive efforts, 72.14 percent of the planned target has been successfully achieved, and the process is continuing at full speed.
Health Check-ups for Students
Starting from August 2026, coordinated by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education and Training, emphasis has been placed on health check-ups for children and students in educational institutions.
Out of 117,467 students at the preschool, primary, and lower secondary school levels, 72,620 have undergone health check-ups, with the rate in this group recorded at 61.8 percent.
High Participation Rate Among High School Students
A remarkably high participation rate has been achieved in health screenings conducted among high school and continuing education students across the province.
Out of a total of 19,907 high school and continuing education students, 18,829 have been examined, and the completion rate in this group has risen to 91.57 percent.
Interagency Coordination and Operations
Local authorities and health facilities have played a proactive role in creating favorable conditions for the organization of examinations.
Units such as the Provincial General Hospital, the Provincial Traditional Medicine Hospital, and the Provincial Center for Disease Control have increased their staffing levels to accelerate the implementation process.
Future Plans and Targets
Acting with a high sense of responsibility, health units will continue to review the lists of individuals who have not yet been examined.
Coordination with commune-level People's Committees will be strengthened to ensure that the public is informed about schedules and locations, and to increase their participation.
