Periodic Health Examinations Conducted for 365 Thousand People Province-Wide

Preventive health services have been expanded by reaching a significant portion of the population through periodic health screenings conducted across the province.

Within the scope of periodic health checks carried out in accordance with the instructions of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee, more than 365,000 people across the province were reached, and 64.83 percent of the population benefited from this service.

Scope of Health Screenings

Within the framework of Directive No. 10-CT/TU dated June 4, 2026, issued by the Provincial Party Committee, Plan No. 1866/KH-UBND was published by the Provincial People's Committee on June 9, 2026.

In line with this plan, more than 365,000 people across the province have undergone periodic health check-ups to date, achieving a rate of 64.83 percent of the total population.

Health Services for Students

The health sector and local governments focused particularly on multi-level boarding schools in 11 communes located in border regions at the start of the 2026-2027 academic year.

Through these health checks conducted for children and students in educational institutions, it is aimed to rapidly detect potential physical problems and diseases.

School Health Program and Future Goals

A new plan, numbered 2595/KH-UBND, was published by the Provincial People's Committee on July 22, 2026, for the School Health Program covering the 2026-2035 period.

The program in question aims to support the comprehensive physical and mental development of students, and to contribute to the quality of education by strengthening health protection and care activities.

Transition to Preventive Healthcare

Encouraging regular health checks and screenings ensures that the focus in health management shifts from treatment to proactive prevention and early diagnosis.

These comprehensive efforts directly contribute to increasing the overall quality of health services provided across the province.
