8th BİLİMFEST Kayseri to open its doors on October 16-18
Organized in partnership with Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality and TÜBİTAK, the festival is preparing to host hundreds of events and thousands of participants.
The 8th BİLİMFEST Kayseri, implemented in cooperation with Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality and TÜBİTAK, will meet technology enthusiasts at the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Nation's Garden on October 16-18.
Date and Location of the Festival
BİLİMFEST Kayseri, organized for the eighth time in cooperation with Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality and TÜBİTAK, will be held between October 16 and 18.
While the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Nation's Garden was designated as the event venue, the festival is planned to bring together science, technology, and innovation enthusiasts.
Visitor and Event Targets
Within the scope of the organization, approximately 200 separate events are planned to be held under different themes.
The local government aims to reach more than 400,000 visitors at this year's festival.
Hands-on Thematic Areas
Participants will acquire knowledge in 8 different themes such as Astronomy, Biotechnology, Energy, Science, Aviation, Gamification, Robotic Coding, and Artificial Intelligence.
Thanks to the specially prepared areas, scientific subjects and concepts will be able to be experienced hands-on by the participants.
Personnel and Institutions on Duty
Approximately 1,200 personnel will take part in the event, which carries the character of a major organization.
A total of 55 institutions and sub-institutions will actively take on roles in the realization of the festival.
Sky Shows and Participation
The Turkish Stars Aerobatic Team will perform breathtaking shows in the sky throughout the festival.
The municipality, under the administration of Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, continues to host this grand gathering with its youth-focused projects.
