A new phase has been reached in the controversial private health facility plan in Izmir's Konak district. The zoning plan change for block 8611, parcel 1 in Mersinli Neighborhood has been suspended.
Approval Process in the Assemblies
The proposal to convert the property, which is a Central Business Area in the current plan, into a Private Health Facility Area had been approved by majority vote in the Konak and Izmir Metropolitan municipal assemblies.
Aiming to Relocate İrenbe
The plan change aims for the Private İrenbe Obstetrics and Gynecology Medical Center and IVF Center in Alsancak to relocate to this new area and continue its operations.
Parcel and Construction Conditions
No increase in construction density is foreseen on the parcel, which has a total area of 1,151.77 square meters. It is planned to preserve the existing construction conditions.
