Progress at Derince Health Facility Reaches 14 Percent
Construction work continues on the new 120-bed health facility being built in Derince by the Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality.
Within the scope of the work carried out on the new 120-bed health facility being constructed in Derince by the Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, the physical realization rate has reached 14 percent.
Current Status of Construction Works
The construction works carried out at the health facility implemented by the Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality in Derince continue without slowing down in accordance with the planned schedule.
The physical realization rate recorded so far in the project, which is being carried out on a total construction area of approximately 8,000 square meters, has reached 14 percent.
Manufacturing Works in Administrative and Outpatient Buildings
While steel column installations continue uninterruptedly in the administrative building of the project, painting processes of the steel systems and reinforced concrete manufacturing in the storage section are also being carried out.
In the outpatient building, which has a construction area of approximately 6,200 square meters, foundation filling and retaining wall manufacturing continue meticulously on-site.
Technical and Physical Capacity of the Facility
The facility, which will provide the region with an important healthcare infrastructure when completed, will house a total of 70 outpatient rooms, each measuring 18 square meters.
In the section allocated for patient use, there will be 60 two-bed patient rooms, each with a size of 22 square meters.
Comprehensive Health Units and Services
In the new facility, along with outpatient services in various branches, numerous units for diagnosis, imaging, and treatment processes will be gathered under one roof.
The facility will feature an 88-square-meter outpatient chemotherapy room, as well as ultrasound, mammography, bone densitometry, blood collection, X-ray, obstetrics and gynecology, and gastroscopy units.
