The Ministry of Health is seeking opinions on a draft amending Decree No. 188/2025/ND-CP detailing the implementation of certain articles of the relevant law. The most prominent highlight is doubling the minimum premium support period for specific groups.
Support Duration and Conditions
According to current regulations, these groups receive state subsidies for at least 70% of their premiums for 36 months. With the new proposal, this period is aimed to be increased to 72 months. The support period will begin from the time the beneficiary's place of residence is no longer classified as an area with difficult or extremely difficult socio-economic conditions.
